Pedro Pinto Neves is Associate Professor at Universidade Lusófona where he teaches Interactive Narratives and Game Design. Holding a PhD in Communication Sciences from Universidade do Minho, his research examines game design vocabularies and agency in interactive media.
Research interests focus on:
- Game design theory development
- Educational game implementation
- Indie game design practices
- Therapeutic applications of games
Publications demonstrate evolving research in game-based learning methodologies and design patterns. Currently leads projects including TEGA (Training Educators via Serious Games) and Y4Y (Youth for Youth).
