Paweł Olko is a Polish physicist and Professor at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN) in Kraków, Poland. Since 2016, he has led the Division of Applied Physics at IFJ PAN.

Research Interests
Professor Olko specializes in microdosimetry, dosimetry of ionizing radiation, solid-state detectors, and proton radiotherapy. His work bridges radiobiological modeling with radiation protection in medical applications.
Key Trends in Publications
His recent research (2015–2018) focuses on proton therapy beam characterization, stray radiation detection, and Monte Carlo simulations for radiation dosimetry. Collaborative efforts include EURADOS WG9 inter-comparison exercises and studies on synchrotron-based therapies.
