Paweł Mordasiewicz

Dr. Paweł Mordasiewicz serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Psychology at SWPS University's Faculty of Psychology in Sopot. His academic duties include teaching cognitive psychology, emotions and motivation, empirical research methods, programming applications in psychology, and firearms user psychophysics. He actively advises the Investigative Psychology Research Club while providing specialized data analysis and research methodology consultation.

His research program centers on the dynamic relationship between affective and cognitive processes, with concentrated investigations into memory systems (particularly working memory), attentional control mechanisms, motivational drivers of procrastination, and human-computer interaction paradigms. Current explorations extend to AI integration in psychological frameworks, effective learning methodologies, and structured creativity training protocols.

Dr. Mordasiewicz has directed significant research initiatives including the nationwide DUSZa project (Diagnosis of Sixth-Grade Skills) conducted for IBE during 2014-2015, and served as principal investigator for the grant "The Motivational Role of Affect and Its Cognitive Effects Depending on Regulatory Attitude." His methodological expertise spans experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation across cognitive-affective domains.

Through the Investigative Psychology Research Club, he mentors student researchers in applied psychological methodologies while maintaining active contributions to cognitive science through teaching innovation and interdisciplinary project leadership at the Sopot campus.
