Professor Paweł Matyaszewski is a distinguished academic at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, where he serves in the Department of Romance Cultures and Literatures within the Faculty of Humanities. His scholarly work focuses on French Enlightenment literature with particular expertise in Montesquieu studies, French Revolutionary period, and Polish-French cultural relations across historical periods.
