Pawel Buczek

• High performance computer-based design of functional quantum materials, with applications in renewable energy generation and quantum/spintronic computers
• Design and analysis of mission- and safety-critical systems, particularly in railway and space flight applications

His teaching encompasses computer simulations and numerical analysis, microcontrollers, design and analysis of mission-critical systems, highly dependable software, and system engineering with RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety).

Professor Buczek actively supervises PhD students Sebastian Paischer and David Eilmsteiner and leads multiple research projects including SPEELS, SAMS4PIV, SPINELS, SolarAlgen, Solar Decathlon Europe 21 (SDE21), and DEUM.
