Dirk Engel

Prof. Dr. Dirk Engel holds the position of Professor of Mechatronic Systems in Chassis Technology at the Department of Automotive and Aeronautical Engineering, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. His expertise focuses on mechatronics, control systems, and automotive engineering applications. He leads the Control Technology and Mechatronics Laboratory within the department and chairs the Examination Committee for the Mechatronics Program.

Prof. Engel is actively involved in academic governance as a member of the Department Council (F&F Department). His research projects include leadership of the AUDEx initiative and the HaMoNee project, demonstrating his engagement with advanced engineering solutions. His office is located in Room 11.16 at Berliner Tor 5, Hamburg.
