Professor Pavlos Kontos holds a position at the University of Patras. He completed his PhD in Philosophy at University College London (UCL) under Jacques Taminiaux, focusing on Heidegger's phenomenology of perception. His academic career includes postgraduate studies in Open and Distance Education and extensive editorial work on classical and phenomenological texts.
Research Interests: His work bridges Aristotelian ethics with phenomenological traditions (Husserl, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, Arendt). Key areas include moral realism, practical reason, and the intersection of ancient philosophy with existential thought.

- Academic Supervisor for 'Promotion of Greek/Chinese Civilizations Study' (€385k, 2022–24)
