Mark Rozahegy is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Concordia University’s Liberal Arts College, with additional appointments in the English Department and Liberal Arts College. His expertise spans 20th Century Continental Philosophy, Existentialism, and Phenomenology, complemented by interdisciplinary investigations into embodiment and corporeality.
- PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from Concordia University (2003)
His research focuses on Heidegger’s engagement with Aristotelian metaphysics, the development of phenomenology, and intersections between philosophy and literary theory. At the 2006 EPTC Conference, he presented on gratitude from Plato to Marion, and in 2005, he explored Aristotle’s influence on existentialist thought.
Scientific Awards:
- FRQSC Post-doctoral Fellowship (2005), comparing Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and Derrida’s engagement with Aristotelian metaphysics
