Pavel Grinfeld is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Drexel University. He holds a PhD from MIT and specializes in applying differential calculus and variational methods to complex problems in physics and engineering. His research spans bioengineering, quantum mechanics, and elasticity, with a strong computational focus. Prior to joining Drexel in 2005, he conducted postdoctoral research in planetary dynamics at MIT.
