Dr. Pauline Teo is a Senior Lecturer and Program Manager for Construction Management at RMIT University's School of Property, Construction and Project Management. She holds multiple administrative roles, including Deputy Program Manager and leadership in committees like Ngulu and Belonging, Diversity and Inclusion, and Indigenous Subcommittees. Her research focuses on infrastructure projects, particularly Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Artificial Intelligence in risk management, construction quality/safety, and procurement strategies. She has published in top-tier journals like the International Journal of Project Management and ASCE’s Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, with over 765 citations and an h-index of 14 (Google Scholar).
Prior to academia, she worked as a Quantity Surveyor in Australia and Singapore, managing institutional, commercial, and residential projects. Pauline is an active member of the CIB W122 PPP Working Commission and Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Her recent research explores CSR communication in construction SMEs, PPP bundle efficiency, and AI-driven risk management.
Pauline’s work bridges industry and academia, emphasizing practical solutions for complex infrastructure challenges. She actively supervises PhD/Master’s students and contributes to RMIT’s reconciliation initiatives.
