Her bilingual proficiency in ASL and English informs her teaching, emphasizing real-world applications in classroom discussions. Prather holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Missouri Western State University and an MBA from Baker University. She is nationally certified through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and advocates for aspiring interpreters and Deaf community engagement.
