Paulina Stokowska

Paulina Stokowska is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She graduated from this institution in 2018 and joined as faculty in 2019. Since 2020, she has tutored the SPAW Scientific Club. Her artistic practice spans sculpture, drawing, and experimental printmaking techniques.

Her research explores material hybridity and process-based creation, notably in her "Szytroryty" series which combines metalwork with textile techniques. Key themes include:

• Integration of hard/soft material contrasts
• Intuitive compositional methodologies
• Tactile documentation of emotional states

She exhibited internationally across Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Her scholarship recognition includes the Cultural Scholarship from Gdańsk for contributions to contemporary art practice.
