Dr. Paulette L. Pepin is a Professor at the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, University of New Haven, where she serves as Director of the Division of Government and Public Service and Interim Chair of the National Security Department/Homeland Security. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Fordham University and a B.A. and M.A. from Western Connecticut State University.
Her research spans Spanish medieval history and World War II espionage, including the biography of Queen María de Molina and the role of the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II. She has secured National Endowment for the Humanities grants for her work on war narratives and historical memory.
Dr. Pepin has presented at numerous academic conferences, including the International Congress on Medieval Studies and the Medieval and Renaissance Forum. Her publications include peer-reviewed articles on Castilian church councils and societal dynamics, book reviews on medieval Europe and Iberian studies, and scholarly books on María de Molina and ecclesiastical policy.
