Paula Williamson

Paula Williamson is a Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Liverpool. She is a leading figure in evidence-based medicine, focusing on clinical trials, meta-analysis, health outcome selection, and reducing research waste. She co-founded the global COMET Initiative (2010) and has secured major grants from organizations like the MRC, NIHR, and Wellcome Trust.
