Professor Paula Kay Lazrus is a faculty member at St. John's University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, serving as Assistant Chair in the Department of Core Studies. She teaches courses in archaeology, sociology, anthropology, and environmental science, emphasizing GIS applications and historical analysis. Her research focuses on antiquities conservation, Italian land-use patterns, and innovative pedagogy through role-playing simulations (Reacting to the Past). She holds a Ph.D. in Archaeology from Boston University, an M.A. in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.
