Paula K. Patterson

Paula K. Patterson serves as Department Head and Professor of Music at Missouri State University, teaching applied voice and opera workshops. An accomplished mezzo-soprano, she has performed with major opera companies internationally.

Research and performance interests focus on musical theatre repertoire, operatic literature, and vocal pedagogy. She maintains an active performance schedule alongside academic responsibilities.

Awards include multiple competition placements and recognition for vocal performance excellence. Patterson studied at Baylor University and University of Texas at Austin.
