Dr. Jennifer Luiken serves as Professor of Music at Charleston Southern University's Horton School of Music and Performing Arts, where she teaches studio voice, directs Lyric Theatre, and oversees vocal performance curricula. An accomplished mezzo-soprano, her performance repertoire spans 30+ operatic roles and major orchestral works including Verdi's Requiem, Mahler's 'Resurrection' Symphony, and Bernstein's Kaddish Symphony, with international performances across Europe.
Research Focus: Specializes in vocal pedagogy, operatic performance, art song interpretation, and music theater production. Her work emphasizes the integration of technical proficiency with dramatic expression, preparing students for professional careers in performance and education.

Educational Leadership: Has directed over 30 musical and operatic productions, including original collaborative works.
