Associate Professor Paul Wrigley is a specialist pain medicine physician and Conjoint Associate Professor at the University of Sydney’s Northern Clinical School, affiliated with the Pain Management & Research Institute (PMRI) at Royal North Shore Hospital. He holds executive roles in the Michael J. Cousins PMRC and serves as Medical Co-chair of the Agency for Clinical Innovation Pain Management Network (ACI PMN), advising NSW health policies. His translational research focuses on improving chronic pain care through clinical neurophysiology, pain assessment, and healthcare service models. Notable projects include the Community Pain PATH initiative (2020–2023) and studies on spinal cord injury pain and opioid reduction strategies.
