Paul William Jowitt is a Professor of Civil Engineering Systems at Heriot Watt University, affiliated with the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society. He holds dual roles as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Royal Academy of Engineering, and previously served as President of the Institution of Civil Engineers (2009-2010).
