Paul Willetts is a Part-Time Professor at the Common Law Faculty of the University of Ottawa. He holds a BA (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Winnipeg, an MA in Political Science from the University of Calgary, and a JD in Common Law from the University of Ottawa. As an Ottawa-based employment lawyer, he co-founded Vey Willetts LLP in 2014 after working with a leading Toronto labour and employment law firm and a large energy corporation.

Paul specializes in employment law, with extensive experience in litigation before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Ontario Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Ontario Labour Relations Board. His expertise spans legal advocacy in corporate and labour contexts, human rights law, and policy advisory roles.
He has contributed to legal education as a volunteer board member with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa, previously serving as Chair of its Human Resources Committee. Currently, he acts as a legal editor for First Reference’s Human Resources Policy-Pro (Ontario Edition).
