Paul Townsend is a Professor of Molecular Cell Biology at the University of Manchester, holding positions as Principal Investigator, Associate Dean of Business Engagement, and co-Director of the Manchester Centre for Cellular Metabolism. He leads applied research collaborations involving NHS, industry, and international partners, contributing to successful funding programs and cost-effective research initiatives. His work spans biomarker/drug discovery, cancer biology, and translational models for stress responses in cells and tissues.
