Paul Staniland is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago, where he chairs the Committee on International Relations and serves as Associate Director of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats. He is also a Nonresident Scholar in the South Asia Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
