Dr. Paul Schreiber serves as a Professor at Mississippi Valley State University, where he has taught Music Theory, Composition, and Recording since 2003. His instructional responsibilities include Form and Analysis, Composition, Music Appreciation, and String Class within the university's music program.
He holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Wayne State University, a Master of Music from Michigan State University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition from Michigan State University. His principal composition mentors were James Hartway, Jere Hutcheson, James Lentini, and Mark Sullivan.
Dr. Schreiber's research centers on Music Composition and Music Theory, with specialized focus on Electro-acoustic Music and Computer-generated Sound.
