Professor Paul S. Davies is a Professor of Commercial Law at University College London (UCL), United Kingdom, and holds a Senior Fellowship with the Melbourne Law Masters program at the University of Melbourne. His professional affiliations include memberships at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, Lincoln’s Inn as a Barrister, and Maitland Chambers as an Associate Member.
His scholarly contributions include seminal works such as Accessory Liability (2015, 2017), winner of the 2015 Peter Birks Book Prize, Equity and Trusts: Text, Cases and Materials (2016), and J.C. Smith’s The Law of Contract (2018). He also co-edits Snell’s Equity. Professor Davies specializes in commercial law, equity, trusts, and contract law, with a focus on legal scholarship and pedagogy.
