Paul Rose

Paul Rose serves as Dean and Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, with prior academic appointments including Associate Dean and J. Gilbert Reese Chair in Contract Law at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and Visiting Assistant Professor at Northwestern University School of Law. His professional background encompasses legal practice in corporate and securities law at Covington & Burling LLP and trading experience at Citibank.

Dean Rose's research centers on corporate governance, securities regulation, sovereign wealth funds, and sustainable finance. His scholarship examines regulatory frameworks for public investment funds, climate-related financial instruments, and shareholder activism, informed by extensive consultation with U.S. government agencies including the Senate Banking Committee and SEC. Recent work demonstrates increasing focus on environmental sustainability within sovereign investment practices.
