Paul Peeters

Paul Peeters is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Transport and Tourism at Breda University of Applied Sciences, leading the Centre for Sustainable Tourism and Transport (CSTT). Specializing in environmental impacts of tourism and transport, particularly climate change mitigation, he has over 30 years of experience across engineering, energy research, and consultancy. His work bridges technical innovation (e.g., aviation fuel efficiency) with policy advocacy, emphasizing systemic approaches to decarbonization. Peeters holds degrees in aerospace engineering and has contributed to ICAO environmental working groups.
