Florian Allroggen

Florian Allroggen is the Executive Director of MIT's Laboratory for Aviation and the Environment (LAE) and Senior Strategic Advisor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He holds the academic rank of Instructor and also serves as a Research Scientist. His roles include co-leading MIT's Transportation Decarbonization efforts in the Climate and Sustainability Consortium and directing the Zero Impact Aviation Alliance. Originally from Germany, he earned a B.S. and Doctorate in Transport Economics from Münster University. Prior to MIT, he worked as an LAE Postdoc and consultant at McKinsey & Company in Germany.
