Prof. Dr. Dr.hc Paul Oberhammer is a full Professor of Civil Procedure Law at the University of Vienna, leading the Institute of Civil Procedure Law since October 2020. He holds a professorship since 2011 and has previously taught at the Universities of Halle-Wittenberg and Zurich. His academic career includes roles as Dean of the Faculty of Law (2014–2020) and as an expert in legislative projects.
