Paul Muldoon is the Howard G.B. Clark '21 University Professor in the Humanities and Professor of Creative Writing at Princeton University's Lewis Center for the Arts. He directs the Princeton Atelier, a program blending art forms. Born in Northern Ireland, he studied at Queen's University Belfast and worked at the BBC before becoming a leading figure in contemporary poetry.

Recent projects include Joy in Service on Rue Tagore (2024) and collaborations like The Castle of Perseverance (2022). He teaches courses such as Custom of the Coast: Creating a Small-Scale Opera and Advanced Literary Translation.
