Paul Moynagh

Paul Moynagh is a Professor at the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen's University Belfast, affiliated with the Wellcome Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. His research focuses on innate immunity and inflammatory signaling pathways, particularly ubiquitin-mediated regulation of immune responses.

Research interests span molecular mechanisms of inflammation, protein biochemistry in immune regulation, and signal transduction pathways in diseases. His work explores how ubiquitin ligases modulate immune activation and has implications for autoimmune disorders and infection responses.

Recent publications demonstrate sustained focus on inflammasome regulation, host-pathogen interactions, and cardiac immunometabolism, reflecting interdisciplinary approaches combining immunology and molecular biology techniques.
