Paul Marchegiani

Paul Marchegiani serves as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he teaches business law and communication-focused courses. Concurrently, he is Founder and CEO of Vox Vera, LLC, a consultancy specializing in performance coaching for leaders, advocates, and artists through presence-based communication techniques.

His academic foundation includes a JD from UC Berkeley (2003) and dual bachelor's degrees in History (BA) and Voice & Opera (BMus) from Northwestern University (2000), supplemented by advanced acting studies at Juilliard and Studio ACT.

Marchegiani's professional expertise bridges legal practice, entertainment industry dealmaking, and performance arts. His instructional focus centers on applying theatrical techniques to business communication, drawing from 15+ years as a studio dealmaker at Warner Bros., NBCUniversal, Miramax, and Amazon Studios where he negotiated talent agreements and advised executives.

As founder of Vox Vera, LLC, he leads a consultancy team delivering presence training to professionals, leveraging his unique credentials as the only U.S. lawyer certified by Patsy Rodenburg in Shakespearean voice coaching. He additionally teaches at Stanford Law School and University of Chicago Law School.
