Paul Lighterness is a Lecturer in Product Design at Cranfield University's Centre for Digital and Design Engineering, holding affiliations with the School of Management. He graduated from the Royal College of Art and has extensive international experience as a design consultant, working with organizations like the Design Council and global brands. His research focuses on Agrifood Systems, Aircraft Design, Human Factors, and Service Design.
He is currently engaged in confidential research projects for aerospace, food production, and FMCG sectors, collaborating with entities like the European Commission and Unilever. His honors include being a Fellow of the RSA and member of IED and CSD.
