Paul Le Blanc is a Professor of Political Science and Adjunct Faculty in History at La Roche University. He earned his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Political Science and History from the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on revolutionary movements, labor radicalism, and Marxist theory, with a particular emphasis on figures like Trotsky, Rosa Luxemburg, and Lenin. He has authored and edited numerous books, including Trotsky (2014), Unfinished Leninism (2014), and Black Liberation and the American Dream (2003). His work also explores the intersections of socialism, class struggle, and global protest movements.
Le Blanc is affiliated with professional organizations such as the American Historical Association, Organization of American Historians, and the American Association of University Professors. His recent contributions include entries in the Encyclopedia of Modern Political Thought, Revolutionary History, and Monthly Review. He joined La Roche University in 2000 and is a resident of Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
