Paul Jessop

Paul Jessop is an Instructor at Mount Royal University's Health and Physical Education department. His teaching focuses on outdoor leadership, environmental studies, and outdoor skills, with course offerings carrying credit from the University of Utah.

Research interests include outdoor education pedagogy, environmental and experiential education, and leadership theory. His graduate research developed curriculum frameworks for outdoor-based experiential leadership programs.

With extensive field experience, Paul has led 30-day expeditions across Alaska, Yukon, Washington, and Wyoming, and teaches both field-based courses and classroom instruction in leadership development.
