Paul Jarvis

Professor Paul Jarvis is a Professor of Plant Cell Biology at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Section of Molecular Plant Biology in the Department of Biology. His research focuses on chloroplast biogenesis, plastid protein import mechanisms, and the role of the ubiquitin-proteasome system in regulating organelle development. He has held roles such as Royal Society Rosenheim Research Fellow and Human Frontier Science Program Fellow, contributing to both fundamental and applied plant biology research.
