John Christianson is a Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences. His research focuses on protein quality control mechanisms in eukaryotic cells, particularly endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-associated degradation (ERAD) and ubiquitination processes critical for cancer cell survival.
