Paul Hockridge

Paul Hockridge is a Senior Fellow in the Melbourne Law Masters program at the University of Melbourne. He specializes in tax law, advising high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and legal professionals on tax efficiency, asset protection, and intergenerational wealth transfers. His expertise includes structuring, FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax), salary packaging, and tax governance frameworks.

Previously, Paul was an Adjunct Professor at La Trobe University and held senior roles in Big 4 accounting firms and multi-family offices. He has taught Taxation of Small and Medium Enterprises for over 19 years and contributed to tax policy consultations with government bodies.

Paul actively participates in professional committees, including The Tax Institute’s Employment Taxes committee and CPA Australia’s Tax Practice committee. He maintains legal practitioner certification in Victoria and holds Fellowships from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

His advisory firm, Hockridge Advisory, focuses on resolving disputes with the Australian Taxation Office and designing tax strategies for family and private enterprises. Paul also serves in leadership roles for non-profit organizations.
