Paul Hiebert

Paul Hiebert is a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe and a member of the Florence School of Banking and Finance Team. He heads the Systemic Risk and Financial Institutions Division at the European Central Bank (ECB), overseeing systemic risk analysis for the euro area and developing macroprudential policy for major banks. He chairs the Eurosystem Macroprudential Analysis Group (MPAG) with 27 EU country representatives and the Analytical Working Group (AWG) of the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) comprising over 80 institutions.
