Dr. Paul Christopher Gray is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Labour Studies at Brock University. His research focuses on labour organizing in gig economies, union coalitions in education and airline sectors, and the role of public sector workers in democratizing governance. He holds a PhD from York University and has authored books such as From the Streets to the State: Changing the World By Taking Power and peer-reviewed articles on topics like the Coalition of Rutgers Unions and Foodora gig worker organizing. His work bridges Marxist theory, political economy, and contemporary labour struggles. Gray’s recent projects include analyzing intra-union tensions in Canadian automotive sectors and exploring strategies for worker solidarity in neoliberal contexts. He has presented at conferences globally and contributes to socialist education initiatives.
