Dr. Paul Bartels is a Lecturer in Biology at Warren Wilson College, where he teaches courses in field natural history, invertebrate zoology, and coral reef conservation. With a research focus on tardigrades and coral reef ecology, he combines teaching and discovery through hands-on fieldwork and laboratory studies. His academic journey includes degrees from Southern Illinois University, University of the West Indies, and University of California at Santa Cruz.
