Patty Chang is an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University's Center for Global Affairs, College of Arts & Science. She specializes in international and sub-national security, focusing on security sector reform, disarmament, and civil war dynamics. Her research integrates advanced methodologies like machine learning and satellite imagery to inform evidence-based policymaking. Dr. Chang has held roles at the UN Office of Internal Oversight Services and advised numerous international organizations on conflict management.
