Patrizio Armeni is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management, Bocconi University. His research focuses on health economics, healthcare policy, and health technology assessment (HTA), with particular expertise in economic evaluations of healthcare technologies and policy design. He coordinates the Health Economics & HTA research area at CERGAS and leads the LIFT Lab, exploring digital innovation in life sciences. His teaching spans public administration, pharmaceutical policy, and evidence-based health policy evaluation at undergraduate and executive education levels.
Key research themes include value-based healthcare frameworks, pharmaceutical market analysis, and the impact of public policies on healthcare systems. Armeni has authored chapters in the OASI report since 2009, a leading Italian publication on healthcare systems. His awards include the ViviSalute Award (2016) and Best Paper recognitions from the Italian Health Economics Association (AIES).
He teaches courses on public management, healthcare systems, and innovation in life sciences, and has coordinated executive programs for pharmaceutical and healthcare professionals. Armeni’s work bridges academic research with practical policy implementation, emphasizing ethical leadership and real-world evidence in healthcare decision-making.
