Patrizio Armeni serves as Associate Professor of Practice in Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management, Bocconi University. He coordinates the Health Economics & HTA research area at CERGAS and directs the LIFT Lab focused on digital innovation-life sciences convergence. His teaching spans undergraduate courses in Public Management and graduate programs covering Pharmaceutical Policy, Economics of Healthcare Organizations, and Evidence-Based Health Policy Evaluation.
His research centers on three interconnected domains: economic evaluations of healthcare technologies using value-based healthcare frameworks; policy design and implementation support for healthcare systems; and pharmaceutical/health technology market analysis. This work integrates Health Technology Assessment methodologies with real-world evidence generation across oncology, vaccination policy, and chronic disease management.
Recent publications demonstrate strong thematic consistency in applying cost-effectiveness analysis to clinical decision-making, with emerging focus on digital health integration. Key trends include methodological innovations in budget impact modeling and cross-disease application of value frameworks from oncology to inflammatory bowel diseases.
