Patrik Zosso

Patrik Zosso is a Professor and Co-Director of the Jazz Institute at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), where he also serves as Chair and Program Director of the Master of Arts in Musical Performance Jazz - Producing/Performance program based at the Jazz Campus in Basel.

His artistic practice merges traditional jazz with electronic innovation, specializing in electronically generated and modified soundscapes. Zosso actively performs internationally with ensembles across Europe and Asia, constantly exploring new sonic territories through live concerts and studio work. His creative methodology bridges acoustic instrumentation with digital audio processing techniques.

As a producer, Zosso collaborates with major labels including Universal Music, Chop Records, Echo Park Music, and Ronin Rhythm Records, shaping contemporary jazz and experimental music releases. His professional platform www.soundfarm.ch documents ongoing sound research and musical discoveries.

Zosso's current artistic laboratories include the ensembles polymer dmt, Ingrid Lukas, marygold, moving target, Matteis Project, sissy fox, and APART OF, where he develops cross-disciplinary performance projects integrating live electronics with improvisational frameworks.
