Patrick Stephane Martínez

Patrick Stephane Martínez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Alicante since 2008. He holds a PhD in Translation and Interpreting (2012), a Master's in International Relations (2005), and a Bachelor's in Translation and Interpreting (2001). His research focuses on multilingual strategic monitoring and pedagogical approaches to translation/interpreting education.

Teaching includes courses such as Technical-Scientific Translation, Conference Interpreting, and Translation for Intellectual Property. He has directed/co-directed 32 undergraduate/master's theses in the last five years.

Active in research groups like LOGOI (Laboratory for the General Observation of Speakers and Interpreters), he contributed to studies on interpreter training challenges and digital pedagogy. His publications include book chapters on translation errors, phraseology, and comparative literary translations.
