Analia Rosa Cuadrado Rey

Analía Cuadrado-Rey is a Professor at the Department of Translation and Interpreting within the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters II (Geography and History) at the University of Alicante. She is a member of the FRASYTRAM research group, focusing on phraseology, diatopic variation, and cognitive accessibility in translation. Her work bridges translation education and multilingual corpus development.

Key projects include Fraseología y Traducción Multilingüe (FRASYTRAM), funded by the University of Alicante (2022–2025), and collaborations on diatopic phraseology and machine translation of gastronomic culture.

Her recent publications analyze neural machine translation of cultural references, phraseological neologisms in Argentine Spanish, and inter/intralingual accessibility in tourism. She has also explored employability strategies for translation graduates and pedagogical innovations for phraseological teaching.
