Patrick Lajeunesse is a Professor in the Department of Geography at Laval University, Canada. His research focuses on marine geomorphology, coastal dynamics, and Quaternary geology, with an emphasis on glaciation, deglaciation, and relative sea level changes. He leads the Laboratoire de géoscience marine (LGM) and is a member of the Centre d'étude Nordique and Québec-Océan.

He has directed international symposia and contributed to multidisciplinary studies on geological hazards and paleoclimate reconstruction.
