Philippe Archambault is a Full Professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Université Laval. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Biodiversity and the Functioning of Changing Marine Ecosystems and serves as Director of the Takuvik International Research Laboratory (CNRS/Laval University/Sorbonne University). As Scientific Director of the national research network ArcticNet since 2024, his work bridges academic research with high-level policy impact.

His Scientific Awards include the 2024 Michel Jurdant Prize (ACFAS), 2025 King Charles III Coronation Medal, and multiple Québec Science 10 Discoveries recognitions (2024, 2019). As an advisor, he has mentored over 15 Master's and Ph.D. students, with ongoing postdoctoral supervision.
