Professor Patrick Connors is a leading authority on New York civil practice affiliated with Albany Law School. He recently returned to campus after serving as a Visiting Scholar in Residence at Touro Law Center during the fall semester. His work involves extensive engagement with legal professionals, including presentations on New York state law updates to bar associations, law firms, and judicial institutes across Long Island, New York City, and upstate locations like Cooperstown and Lake Placid.
He holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and a J.D. from St. John’s Law School. His scholarship is frequently cited in court decisions, including 75 reported cases in 2015. He contributes to the New York Law Journal and serves on the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Professional Ethics and the Racing Fan Advisory Council to the New York State Gaming Commission.
