Meredith R. Miller is a Professor of Law at Albany Law School, with expertise in business, employment, and contract law. She previously taught at Touro University, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center for nearly two decades and began her academic career as an Honorable Abraham L. Freedman Fellow at Temple University School of Law.
- Education: B.A. (cum laude) from Union College, J.D. (cum laude) from Brooklyn Law School, LL.M. in Legal Education from Temple University Law School
Her scholarship focuses on contract doctrine, employment law, and closely-held business law, with publications in prominent journals such as the Missouri Law Review and Cornell Real Estate Review. Her work has been cited in leading Contracts casebooks and by courts like the Maryland Supreme Court.
Professor Miller actively applies her legal expertise through complex litigation, arbitration, appeals, and transactional representation of employees, freelancers, and businesses. She is trained as a commercial/employment law mediator and FINRA arbitrator.
